PLL Trainer

TL;DR

Practice algorithms by selecting cases, viewing a realistic scramble, timing solves, and revealing AUF-aware solutions incrementally. Use the "Select & Review Cases" modal to choose which cases to include.

Settings

• Bottom / Front: Set cube orientation for canvas previews and scramble colors.
• Timer Enabled: Toggle the solve timer. When disabled, clicking the timer area will only change scrambles.
• Scramble Image Shown: Toggle the scramble preview canvas.
• Select & Review Cases: Choose specific cases or subsets to include in random selection; selections persist locally.

How to Use

1. Configure Settings: Choose colors and toggles at the top, then open "Select & Review Cases" to pick which cases to practice.
2. Start a Attempt: Press Space or click the timer area to start and stop timing (when timer is enabled).
3. Record Times: Times are recorded locally; view mean/aoX stats in the Times card.
4. Reveal Solution: Use the Show/Hide controls to reveal the solution one move at a time or reveal the full solution; solutions are AUF-aware and built from the displayed scramble.
5. Repeat: After a solve, press space or click to load a new random case from your selection.

Algorithm Management

The trainer draws algorithms from the selected algset for this category. Use the Select & Review modal to inspect available cases, pick variants, and persist your selection. Extra helper algorithms (if any) are available to improve scramble realism.

Tips

• Color Preference: Set Bottom/Front so the preview matches how you hold the cube.
• Use Select & Review: Create small focused subsets for intensive practice.
• Solution Reveal: Reveal moves incrementally to test recognition before seeing the whole algorithm.
• Persistence: Selections, times, and colors are stored in localStorage for convenience.
